Inspired by a love for God and sports. I have always been a sports fan, I've always loved competition and the thrill of a team coming together as one for the purpose of battling against odds to achieve a goal. In all those events where it's applicable there is a final quarter or period to compete before the game is over and that quarter or period is when a team even if they are tired and worn out is expected to dig in and compete harder and do more in order to be victorious. I thought about this further and saw that the same concept applies to our current place in the history of the world.
The idea of a 4th Quarter Disciple is someone who lives and works for God with purpose and focus because they know that they are on borrowed time. Jesus highlighted the signs of His return and this particular time in human history is the 4th quarter. It is the time for those who love God to dig in deeper and fight for Holiness, Love all people as Christ commended and Serve because the greatest among us shall be a servant.
We empower you through our devotions. Teach, remind and inspire. If you comprehend the will of God and what he desires for you, you automatically are positioned to affect change in a positive way.
God is not boring; living righteous is not boring; living holy is not boring. We hope to bring humorous Christian based contents to reinforce those beliefs.
To serve is to show your faith. At the heart of it all, working for God, putting the word on display, putting love on display, putting holiness on display, lifting Christ up is how we advance the Kingdom of God. It's how we draw others unto him.
